Jr/Sr Banquet Delivers Laughs and Desserts
For those of you still too young (or just a few credits shy) of attending the annual Junior/Senior banquet, you missed a party. Held at Coppes Commons in scenic Nappanee, Ind., on April 25, and hosted by SAB, guests found a beautiful room in an old factory lit up with vintage light-bulbs and tables set with vases of fresh flowers.
The banquet was a formal affair and everybody looked fantastic. Food was prepared and eventually everybody was fed. For those poor tables who had to wait an extra twenty minutes, the meal was worth it, wasn’t it?
The dessert array was incredible: two types of cheesecake, chocolate cake, and an assortment of pies were snatched up by students. Along with the dessert, bottles of vintage sodas ranging from root beer to cream soda were provided.
After dessert, comedian David Dean performed, inviting RD Peter Wolff and seniors Eric Totheroh and Daniel Harris to participate in a skit. Go ahead; ask them about what they brought back from the trip to Miami. To finish up the night, there was also dancing.
For students who are returning to Grace next year, make sure you plan to attend!
