College Will Wait Three Weeks Before Calling About Donations

Stating that the school will give recent graduates time to get on their feet, reports suggest that the local college will wait three weeks before calling upon recent alumni to give back to their alma mater. While student loans are often deferred up to six months after graduation to give recent graduations ample time to find employment and put money away, the college believes that this short time will be all that students need to not hear from their former school. “Post-grads are living in such an exciting portion of their lives,” said the Dean of Admissions, arranging a list of graduates by projected incomes in their fields. “We firmly believe that three weeks is plenty of time for these individuals not to owe us anything, and will be more than willing to start sending us money once more.” At press time, the Admissions Office was on the phone with the parents of recent graduates, who after four years of putting their kids through college were ready to give, give, give.
