Just Because

April 20 is going to be a wonderful day. How do I know this? There is a going to be a campus and community-wide event of random kindness! The Grace College Serve teams and SAB are calling students to go out into the Warsaw-Winona Lake area to serve others, just because.
Spread kindness through service from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. Some of the services provided to the community include a free car wash, delivering flowers to Grace Village, baking and distributing cookies, writing letters of encouragement for prisoners and deployed soldiers, paying for someone’s gas/meal/groceries, and distributing diapers to changing stations. With such a wide range of services, anyone can do something to brighten another person’s day.
Serve officer Kali Miller says that “Sometimes there aren’t opportunities to sit down and share the gospel and so ‘Just Because’ gives us the chance to live the gospel and show it in our actions.”
This would be a perfect way to serve the community with your hall or with your growth group. Get involved and grow closer to your hall-mates and meet new people.
