What can we expect from our leadership (and professors) this year?
We’re excited to enter this year with a strong corps of experienced administrators and faculty, and also to welcome some excellent and highly capable new faculty members to our ranks.
Last year we made a number of new hires in our top administration—the posts of academic leadership, financial operation, and institutional advancement all got new, fresh leadership.
Over the past year those team members have learned our culture well, have learned well how to work together as a team, and have become the strong, dedicated force—along with the administrators already in place—that give great promise for the future.
We lost some very good faculty members to retirement this past year, but we’ve also recruited some top-notch people to join us for the fall of 2015. New faculty are joining us in the areas of graduate counseling, visual communication design, exercise science, criminal justice, and chemistry.
We continue to enlarge and refine our capacities to teach online courses, and you will see continued encouragement from our faculty to put students out into “real life” applied learning opportunities (i.e. internships) which should be of valuable assistance when they are ready to enter the workforce.
