Indiana Pacers Game

By  Patrick Stukkie

This past Friday night, 40 students got to witness an NBA game between the Portland Trailblazers and the Indiana Pacers. It was a great game as the Pacers beat the Trailblazers 118- 113 in overtime. The Pacers were led by George Hill who had a career high 37 points and made a clutch three late in 4th quarter to send the game into overtime.

This event was hosted by Grace College SAB. The cost of this event was $20, which included a ticket to the game, a voucher for a Pacers T-shirt, and a voucher for food. It also included a ride down there and back on Grace’s new busses, with snacks provided.

As I mentioned earlier, there were about 40 students in attendance. I asked some people about their experience: “This was my first NBA game, and it was an exciting game and it was at a cheap price,” said Andrew Pepe.

Tre Fowler had this to say about his experience: “It was a cool experience, as it was my first NBA game and it didn’t disappoint. I also like the fact we got a gift and food on top of the game.”

As you can see, this is a great experience and gives students a chance to watch an NBA game where we most likely would not be able to because of the price. This has been a top event for Grace College SAB over the years. You all should make plans to go next year.
