Fall is in the air, finally. This issue’s Things to Do column focuses on fun fall-ish activities and places you can visit with friends or family. From a yummy café that offers both breakfast foods and coffee, to a small vintage store located near downtown, Warsaw provides a bunch of options for fun, seasonal things to do.

Creighton’s Crazy Egg Café and Coffee Bar

Creighton’s Crazy Egg Café and Coffee Bar is a local café that serves breakfast, lunch, and of course, coffee. Their breakfast and lunch menu consists of a variety of dishes, many involving some egg component. Their coffee bar offers a variety of coffee and non-coffee beverages, including mochas, lattes, teas, and smoothies that are available hot, iced, or frozen.  If you love autumn-themed beverages, Creighton’s Coffee bar offers an apple pie and apple crisp chai. If you and your friends are looking for some new breakfast or lunch places to try in town, Creighton’s may be a good option for you. Kosciusko County Farmer’s Market has been an outdoor market that took place every Saturday morning in downtown Warsaw. On October 27th, the market moved indoors to the Center Lake Pavilion, and only takes place one Saturday a month. Vendors offer homemade products, including seasonal decorations, locally grown produce, canned food products, and crafts. Spend a Saturday morning with your friends exploring the market and Warsaw’s downtown or Warsaw’s Center Lake Park. Bonus: last year one of the vendors sold succulents! Fall is the perfect season for vintage shopping. Home Sweet Home is a local vintage store near downtown Warsaw. This shop sells reclaimed furniture, as well as a variety of decorations including picture frames, candles, and small trinkets.
